Born in 1980, a year after Iran's revolution, and in the first week of the prolonged eight years' war, Hamed very soon became exposed to bloodshed, prejudice and injustice.
In search for better opportunities in life, and after years of travelling around the world and living in The Middle East, South Africa, Singapore and Canada, he finally settled in Sydney, Australia, with his South African wife and three children. Born a Libra, he always took pride in standing for values and justice and never got over his aspiration to be part of a rebellion. Louder than Howls was born in 2009, when a gunshot rang out from a rooftop on one of Tehran's streets and by a government sniper, and a young girl fell to the ground in the middle of a peaceful protest. The world witnessed a new image of the tyranny and the young girl became the ‘voice of Iran'.
