Emily lives in East Sussex with her partner, John, and their four children. She graduated from the University of Brighton in 2011, with a BA (Hons) in International Event Management. She now runs a film company with John and works for a local charity supporting children with special needs and disabilities. Interested in the power of mindfulness, Emily wrote Little Crab Self Soothes for her daughter, Poppy, who has Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and suffers anxiety, especially at night. Regular repetition of the story has helped to calm Poppy and Emily hopes other children can now benefit from it too.
Ruth lives with her husband, Ady, and their two gorgeous dogs, Gladys and Mabel. Emily met Ruth over the garden fence when Emily's youngest children, Teddy and Poppy, used to wave at the train in Ruth's garden.
