Edward Abdullah Oshodi is a British Muslim, born to Nigerian parents. He is a former professional football player, holds a Bachelor of Science degree (Hons) in psychology from Birkbeck, University of London and has studied both formally and informally at various Islamic institutions around the world, most notably Zaytouna College, Berkeley, California. He has a real passion for exploring identity. His writings are deeply spiritual, thought provoking, provocative and psychological, drawing most of his inspiration from his London upbringing, Nigerian ancestry and Islamic beliefs.
