Born in Kentucky and now a dual Australian citizen living
in Perth, Anil is a retired biologist, recently specialising in
the use of word play around which to create literary and
humorous writings. He has won awards for four of his
earlier self-published books, some featuring animals and all
involving some form of constrained writing around which
are woven stories and essays, mostly silly nonsense. They
are peppered with ongoing stories of his imaginary friends.
As well as scientific papers Anil has contributed over two
hundred articles to Word Ways; the Journal of Recreational
Linguistics.
